With this product it seems that the fleas are finally gone! I've been trying unsuccessfully for months to control them with cheap products - now I know better. One note though: I bought the Advantage II but really should have bought the Advantix II because it also controls ticks. However, on fleas it works as advertised. If you don't need tick control this is definitely a must product. Also be aware that this product contains the pesticide Permethrin which is highly toxic to cats so if you're in a multi-pet household Frontline might be a better choice.

I have used advantage on my dog for the last 3 years and it worked very well for him. I recently ordered it again and was sent advantange 11 instead of regular advantange it nearly killed my dog he was chocking and couldn't walk without falling over for 2 days .I thought he was going to die.I just found out that they changed the formula and made it stronger please be careful if you try this on you dog. I KNOW I WILL NEVER USE IT AGAIN AND NOW HAVE TO FIND ANOTHER FORM OF FLEE MEDS IF THEY DON'T CHANGE IT BACK. SCORPSUE
